Do I need to use a lotion when I tan?

Yes! UV light bounces off of dry skin. If you do not use a lotion, it will take 6-7 minutes for the UV light to begin tanning your skin. If you use a lotion, the UV light will begin tanning your skin within 30 seconds! We carry only the finest tanning and moisturizing lotions to help you achieve your best possible tan. All of our tanning lotions begin as a skin care product, then the tanning ingredients are added. You will keep your skin healthy, moisturized and have an amazing tan when you use a lotion. Let us help you find the perfect lotion for your skin type.

Do I get Vitamin D from tanning?

UV light is the main source of Vitamin D for humans. UV light causes the skin to create pre-vitamin D, which, in turn, makes Vitamin D that is necessary for good health, bone formation and repair, and the absorption of calcium and phosphorous in the body. The presence of Vitamin D in the body can decrease the risks of developing breast, colon, prostrate and ovarian cancers!

How often do I need to tan to maintain my tan?

The number of times you need to tan to maintain your color depends on which level you are tanning in, the lotion you use, and how well your skin tans. The average person usually tans 2-3 times per week to maintain their color.

Do I need an appointment to tan?

No. We have 13 UV beds. No appointments are needed and the last tan begins 30 minutes before close.
